🧦👟 Mini Vinnies Odd Sock & Shoe Day – Stepping Up for Those in Need 💙
Our students stepped out in style for our Mini Vinnies Odd Sock & Shoe Day! Wearing odd socks was a fun reminder that we can all make a difference by “stepping up” to support those in need.
We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our school community, with students bringing in donations to help support local people doing it tough this winter. Every item donated — big or small — helps bring comfort, dignity and hope to those who need it most. 💙
A huge thank you to our families for your ongoing kindness and support. Your generosity continues to make a real difference. 🙏

🦎🐍 Getting up close with some amazing Australian wildlife! 🐾✨
Our Year 3 students had an unforgettable learning experience as they welcomed Emily from Animals Anonymous for an interactive wildlife incursion.
Students had the opportunity to meet some incredible native animals, learning fascinating facts about their habitats, adaptations and the important role each creature plays in our environment. From curious questions to excited reactions, it was wonderful to see our students’ natural curiosity come to life as they connected with Australia’s unique wildlife. 🌿🦉
Experiences like this help bring learning beyond the classroom, encouraging our students to develop a deeper appreciation for the animals we share our environment with and the importance of conservation. 🌏💚
A huge thank you to Emily and the team at Animals Anonymous for sharing your knowledge, passion and love for wildlife with our students. We loved every minute of this special visit! 🐢✨

🏛️⚖️ Learning Beyond the Classroom: Year 6 HASS Excursion
Our Year 6 students stepped beyond the classroom today as they explored the heart of South Australia’s democracy and history during their HASS excursion to Parliament House, Adelaide and Adelaide Oval.
As part of their ongoing learning in HASS, students have been exploring the three levels of government and how parliament operates. This excursion provided a valuable opportunity to bring their learning to life as they toured Parliament House, discovered more about the role of government, and gained insight into how decisions are made that shape our community.
The learning continued at Adelaide Oval, where students explored one of South Australia’s most iconic landmarks, discovering its rich history, cultural significance and the important role it plays within our state. The guided experience provided students with a unique opportunity to connect with place, history and community.
A wonderful day of curiosity, questions, connections and real-world learning! A big thank you to our staff and parent helpers who supported our students throughout the day. 👏
