β½π Year 2 World Cup Food Festival & Farewell πβ½
Last week, our Year 2 students enjoyed a fantastic afternoon celebrating their World Cup learning with a World Food Festival and farewell for their pre-service teacher, Miss Monet.
Students proudly represented their World Cup countries and sampled a variety of foods inspired by cultures from around the world. It was wonderful to see them sharing, learning and celebrating all they have discovered throughout the inquiry.
A big thank you to our families for their support in making the event so special. We also extend our thanks to Miss Monet and all of our pre-service teachers for their enthusiasm, dedication and contribution to our school this year. We wish them every success as they continue their teaching journey.

π€πβ€οΈ As National Reconciliation Week comes to a closeβ¦ β€οΈππ€
This week may be ending, but the work of reconciliation continues every day at North Haven School.
This yearβs theme, βAll In,β reminds us that reconciliation is a shared journey β one that calls on all of us to listen, learn, connect and take meaningful action together.
This beautiful artwork, created collaboratively by our students and our Aboriginal Community Education Officer, Richanda, reflects the power of coming together, sharing stories and walking forward side by side.
At North Haven School, we remain committed to embedding reconciliation into our learning, strengthening understanding, and creating a future where everyone belongs.
Because when we are All In, we build stronger connections, deeper respect and a brighter future for all.
