Today the children explored a fun and creative painting activity.
They dropped paint onto paper, folded it in half, and used their hands to press and spread the paint across the page. When they opened the paper, they were surprised and delighted to discover the unique patterns and colourful designs they had created. This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, sensory exploration, and self-expression through art.

Emerging from the children's own interest, being they like to play with water and cars, we created a Toddler Car Wash for them to interact with.
Engaging in verbal and non verbal communication. the children maneuvered their vehicle's through the car wash.
The children were very excited - "my car is clean", "look at the train - it's all clean", "I washed the car too", "look at my hands", "the bus is clean now too", "my hands are all wet", "I washed all the trains".
While focusing on their fine motor skills, this activity also supported sensory exploration with bubbles, water, and different textures, as well as social and language development and turn taking with our peers.
