🍷🍽️ Discover the flavours of Southern France without leaving Adelaide!
Join beloved WEA tutors Rosa Matto and David Crossman for an unforgettable journey through the food, wine and culture of Languedoc-Roussillon, one of France's most fascinating and diverse regions.
Stretching from the Rhône Valley to the Spanish border, this sun-drenched corner of France is famous for its vineyards, rich culinary traditions and unique blend of French and Spanish influences.
During this delicious afternoon, you'll enjoy three carefully selected regional wines, including a crisp Picpoul de Pinet, a vibrant rosé and a fruit-driven GSM from Minervois, expertly paired with authentic local dishes such as brandade de morue, cassoulet and the traditional Galette des Rois.
With Rosa's decades of experience in food, travel and hospitality, and David's deep knowledge and passion for wine, this is much more than a tasting. It's a cultural experience that brings the sights, stories, flavours and traditions of Southern France to life.

🌿💚 A huge thank you to the Youth Options Garden Squad and the City of Adelaide for their fantastic work upgrading the verge at the front of the WEA building on Angas Street.
This project builds on the work already completed in our Community Sensory Garden and has transformed the streetscape, creating a welcoming and attractive entrance to WEA for students, visitors and the wider community.
A special shout out goes to Jack, one of the rising stars of the Youth Options Garden Squad. Despite gusty winds, threatening skies and a last-minute participant cancellation, Jack worked tirelessly to complete the planting, carefully positioning each plant according to the landscape design and ensuring every detail was just right.
It's wonderful to see young people like Jack developing their skills through hands-on experience while undertaking their horticulture studies. We can't wait to watch both Jack and the new plants flourish in the months ahead! 🌱
Thank you also to Glenn, Jamie, Matthew, the nursery team, Nicki and everyone involved behind the scenes. We are incredibly grateful for your support, expertise and hard work.
Next time you're visiting WEA, take a moment to admire the beautiful new verge planting and our Community Sensory Garden. 💚
