Sponsoring the ACEL Inclusion and Disability Conference was both a privilege and a pleasure. Supporting school leaders to navigate complex inclusion needs, foster genuine participation, and collaborate effectively across the multiple systems involved in supporting students with disability is essential to making inclusion authentic, sustainable, and impactful.

bower-schools was proud to sponsor the ACEL Inclusion and Disability Conference in Adelaide.
Across two inspiring days, we had the opportunity to connect with many like-minded educational professionals who are deeply committed to inclusion and to navigating the increasing complexity within their school communities.
A sincere thank you to the many delegates who stopped by to chat with us. It was energising to hear about the work happening in schools across Australia and across all education sectors—the aspirations schools hold, the challenges they face, and their determination to make a positive difference in the lives of students and families.
While every school context was unique, a common thread emerged throughout the conference. Regardless of role, sector, or location, every educator we spoke with was united by a shared purpose: supporting the children and young people in their care.
We left the conference encouraged by the passion, commitment, and professionalism of educators across the country and grateful for the opportunity to be part of these important conversations.
If you're a school leader interested in professional development in protocols to guide the management of multi-system complexity that comes with complex inclusions within your school, we invite you to attend a free online information session.

Morning all. Thank you to Good Shepherd Lutheran College in Darwin for my new coffee mug. If any other schools wish to forward on or drop in a school coffee mug for me to use with my weekly postings please send them in. I’d love to share them with you all. This week I’ve found some sad statistics to share coming from Queensland.
Should educators be social workers too?
A week has passed since the ACEL Conference in Adelaide.
Morning all. Following last week, here are more reflections on the article, ‘Upward Bullying’.

We have the privilege of sponsoring Lutheran Principals Australia and attending their National conference this week “Anchored in Faith, Leading with Heart”.
Connecting with principals who are passionate about the children and families in their school communities has been inspiring. We look forward to strengthening these relationships into the future.
