How much do you really know about the Australian job market? 🤔

Our Director of Learning and Teaching, Niraj, challenged students to put common Australian job market myths to the test through an interactive Kahoot quiz. From workplace communication to the role of small talk in building professional relationships, students worked together to uncover the realities of Australian workplace culture and gain a better understanding of what to expect in their future careers. 💡

What happens when teamwork meets community impact? 🌿

As part of Employability Week, our Foundation Studies Program students volunteered with Rotary Norwood in association with G'Day South Australia, collecting rubbish along the Torrens River from Klemzig towards Adelaide CBD. The experience gave students the opportunity to contribute to the local community. It encouraged collaboration, communication and teamwork while giving students the chance to connect with one another. 💙

💼 Building confidence, communication skills and professional presence.

On Day 4 of Employability Week at Kaplan International College Adelaide, guest speaker Sunaina Sharma led an engaging session on personal branding in the professional world, including practical tips on creating a strong elevator pitch. 🎤 Students were encouraged to put their skills into action, with our Foundation Studies Program student Dhyani volunteering to present how she crafted her own 60-second pitch.

Kaplan International College Adelaide very first Employability Week brought students together for a week of meaningful learning, professional development and industry connection 🙌

Across workshops and interactive sessions, students explored a series of topics including networking, personal branding, through to cybersecurity, while developing key graduate success skills for the future. The week also featured inspiring guest speakers at Adelaide University Braggs East Lecture Theatre, where students gained valuable insights into the Australian job market and workplace expectations.
