Darren started playing golf at 12 years of age and turned professional at the age of 23, After teaching and media work overseas for the past 15 years he is now back home in Melbourne and quickly establishing himself as one of the better teachers in the country. A list of achievments thus far are:

•Member of Australian Professional Golfers Association since 1991
•Member of Australian Coaching Council [ AAA Rating ] since 1991
•Underwent intensive professional training including the 6000 hour training program in Australia
•Played Australasian tour from 1994 to 1996 winning several tournaments on the Australian circuit
•Head Teaching Professional at the Aschuffenberg Golf Club in Germany in 1999
•Head Teaching Professional at the Warren Golf & Country Club in Singapore in 2001
•Teaching Golf Professional at Asian Golf Academy from 2002 to 2012
