Last Friday’s NEON Disco was a huge success, with an incredible turnout from our school community! 🪩

A fantastic night full of fun, dancing and laughter, that was beautifully organised by our year 6 students!

A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event, as well as our amazing staff and parent volunteers who helped make it all possible.

Last Thursday, our upper years students had an incredible visit from two West Coast Eagles AFLW players. They took part in a fun skills session and an engaging Q&A, sharing insights into teamwork and dedication.

Best of all, the feedback from the players said it all:
“Your kids were awesome, so polite and respectful.”

This week Mr Merrell's volunteered his time to do a lesson on Historical Noongar Technology with our Year 2's.

At today's assembly we had one of our pre-primary students win a prize from the Premier's Reading Challenge.

The Year 6 students are excited to be hosting a Disco Fundraiser to celebrate and raise funds for their Graduation! 🕺💃🪩

🌟 Theme: FLURO! (Wear your brightest colours and shine on the dance floor!)

Session Times by Year Group:
• Kindy & Pre-Primary: 3:00 – 4:00pm
• Years 1–3: 4:00 – 5:00pm
• Years 4–6: 5:00 – 6:00pm

Tickets:
Must be purchased via QKR app by Monday 8th June
No tickets sold at the door – no ticket = no entry
Tickets will be issued in Week 8 once payments are cleared.

Please note parents and siblings will not be permitted inside during disco sessions.

We're thrilled to participate in this meaningful event to raise awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis. Each beautifully bloomed rose is available for just $6, symbolizing our support and hope for those affected by this condition.

Today we recognise and celebrate the amazing work of our P&C, whose ongoing dedication helps make our school such a wonderful place for students and families.

So far this year, the P&C have committed an incredible $40,000 back into our school community, including:

$25,000 towards an updated Kindy playground.
$12,000 for interactive whiteboards to enhance classroom learning.

Their support doesn’t stop there! Throughout the year, they bring our community together by organising fantastic events such as the Mother’s Day stall, Easter raffle, movie night, and the upcoming Quiz Night on June 20, just to name a few.

They also oversee the uniform shop and Lunchbox Hub, offering important support that benefits families throughout the school year.

Thank you to our P&C and parent volunteers for your time, energy, and generosity. We truly appreciate everything you do to support our school and enrich the experience for all students.
