Another proud moment for the club with members competing at the WA Invitational this weekend. Not only was it pleasing to see the podium finishes, but the significant number of our members trying competition for the first time 👏👏👏

⭐️MAY STUDENT OF THE MONTH⭐️

Congratulations to Shae Fernando who is our May 2026 SOTM! Shae’s focus and determination has been present from day 1 since she started Taekwondo, and since then we’ve seen a continued growth in her confidence. Shae is ever consistent, showing up like clockwork and giving her 100% every lesson no matter what day it is. Well done on your efforts Shae! 🥋

🥋Dan Grading Results🥋

Huge congratulations to Vivien Low and Chikamuco Ezugworie for becoming Belmonts latest black belts! Great effort over the years, rewarded by achieving 1st Dan level.

⭐️Toronto Online International Poomsae Results⭐️

Congrats to our members who entered the online championships a little over 2 weeks ago.

Anzo Tan (Cadet M Black) came away with a 🥉 Medal. Narrowly missing out on silver with a tied result, losing on presentation score.

Iya Ramos (Red F Jnr) finished with a 🥈medal, scoring her highest score yet.

Chloe Perez (U30 F Black) performed well on her return to international online Poomsae in over a year, finishing 5th place in a competitive division - narrowly missing the medals.

⭐️APRIL STUDENT OF THE MONTH⭐️

Congratulations to Vosanda Mathangadeera who is our April SOTM. Since Vosanda entered his first competition, he’s shown a huge level of motivation and increase effort in his training. His focus and dedication to classes, particular his Poomsae practice, has been noticed by all instructors and his peers. Keep up the amazing efforts, Vosanda!

⭐️MARCH STUDENT OF THE MONTH⭐️

Congratulations to Tiana Tike who is our March student of the month!

Tiana is a long time student of ours, having trained at Belmont for 10 years! Even after all that time and already a 3rd Dan, Tiana has shown extra improvement over the last few months - proving that learning journey doesn’t end at black belt. In addition, Tiana has given back to the club with volunteering her time and effort at our events recently.

Well done Tiana!
