SEMESTER ONE MUSIC SHOWCASE

A reminder that our Semester One Music Showcase will be held next Wednesday 24 June in the College Stadium. Doors will open at 5:30 pm.
Students performing should arrive no later than 5:15 pm for warm up.

Families and community members are warmly invited to attend and enjoy an evening of live music celebrating the learning, effort and creativity of students from the Secondary Instrumental Program, Music Academy, Soundgarage Program, and Senior and Junior Choirs.

Attendees are welcome to bring a blanket or picnic rug to sit on and enjoy the concert comfortably. Seating will also be available for those who require it.

Please note that school uniform is not required for this event. Performance attire has been discussed with each ensemble and band.

To support all students, we ask that families show respect to every performer by remaining for the full duration of the event. Each performer has worked hard and deserves the same attentive and supportive audience. Please refrain from departing after your child’s performance, as this helps maintain a respectful and encouraging environment for all participants.

Families are also asked to actively supervise younger siblings and guests while in the stadium. Please note that the basketball courts cannot be used for ball games during the concert.

We look forward to sharing a wonderful evening of student performances with our College community.

⭐️ FIVE STAR FOODIES ⭐️

This fortnight, our Five Star Foodies made banana pikelets.

This is a really easy recipe if you want to make it at home - mash 1 ripe banana, combine with 1 cup of milk and 1 egg, add all wet ingredients to 1 cup of self raising flour and whisk together!

BASKETBALL ACADEMY

Last Friday, our Basketball Academy competed against Cranbourne Secondary at Timbarra Stadium. We fielded four teams: a Year 5–6 team, a girls team, a Secondary B team, and a Secondary A team. All of our teams represented the Academy with pride, giving their best effort and showcasing impressive skill throughout the day.
We saw some phenomenal performances from both the A team and our Year 5–6 team, who didn’t drop a single game across the entire day. Additionally, standout individual performances from Xavier Rice and Mitch Delahunty highlighted a diverse range of skills, from flashy layups and creative passing to strong fundamental jump shooting.
Congratulations to everyone who participated. We’re already looking forward to our next Sports Academy event.
