Our children have been learning about the places that make up our community, including our homes, daycare, parks, shops, and beach.

Through play and discussion, they shared their experiences, built connections, and developed a greater sense of belonging to the world around them.

🐛🍎 The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🍎🐛

Our little learners have been busy exploring The Very Hungry Caterpillar through a range of fun and engaging learning experiences!

The children created their own colourful pom pom caterpillars on leaves, encouraging creativity and fine motor development. They also enjoyed feeding the hungry caterpillar, developing their counting skills, hand-eye coordination, and understanding of healthy foods through imaginative play.

These hands-on experiences help bring stories to life while supporting early literacy, creativity, and learning through play. 💙🐨

Frequent moves between homes and schools can disrupt their learning, relationships, and sense of stability. Without the right support, these challenges can have lasting effects on their education, wellbeing, and future opportunities.

That is why we are taking part in National Pyjama Day.

By wearing our PJs and raising funds, we are helping The Pyjama Foundation give children in foster care something truly life changing: a dedicated Pyjama Angel mentor.

Your donation will help recruit, screen, train, and match a “Pyjama Angel” with a child who needs them most. These volunteer mentors do more than read books or help with homework. They build trust, confidence, and a love of learning that can change the course of a child’s life.

We are excited to introduce the Emotional Literacy and Mindset Academy (ELMA) program at Aussie Early Learning.

ELMA is an evidence-based social and emotional learning program designed to help children understand, recognise, and manage their emotions while developing positive mindsets and resilience. Through engaging experiences, stories, discussions, and practical strategies, children learn essential life skills that support their emotional wellbeing, relationships, and overall development.

The ELMA program promotes:
• Emotional literacy and the ability to identify and express feelings appropriately.
• Positive self-esteem and confidence.
• Resilience and coping strategies when faced with challenges.
• Growth mindset thinking and a willingness to embrace learning opportunities.

Attention Families!

On Tuesday, 24th June, we will be celebrating Fairy Dress-Up Day at Aussie Early Learning! 🌸🌈

Children are invited to come dressed as fairies, magical creatures, princes, princesses, woodland friends, or anything that sparks their imagination. We can't wait to see all the wonderful costumes and creativity on display!

Throughout the day, the children will enjoy magical fairy-themed activities, imaginative play experiences, and plenty of enchanting fun with their friends.

We look forward to sharing this special day with all of our little fairies and magical friends! ✨

Aussie Early Learning - Bibra Lake

Another fantastic fortnightly First Kick Soccer session with Jayden ⚽💚

The children had so much fun running, kicking, balancing, and learning new soccer skills through exciting games and activities. These sessions help build confidence, coordination, teamwork, listening skills, and encourage the children to stay active while having fun with their friends.

We absolutely love when Jayden comes to visit and the children always look forward to their First Kick Soccer sessions each fortnight. Thank you Jayden for bringing so much energy, encouragement, and fun to our little learners ⚽✨
