What do young people actually want from their libraries? πŸ“š

It was fantastic to spend the day at the State Library of Queensland alongside library professionals from across the state exploring how we can better engage young people aged 12–18 through events, programs and opportunities designed with them, not just for them.

Scott delivered a keynote exploring the future of young people, emerging trends and the evolving role libraries can play as spaces for creativity, connection and opportunity.

The day also featured an interactive masterclass facilitated by Maddie focused on youth advisory and co-design, helping attendees walk away with practical frameworks and strategies to take back to their own communities.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for the incredible conversations, ideas and passion for creating more youth-centred library experiences.
