💃🕺 What an amazing week of dancing, teamwork and community spirit at our school!

Throughout the week, students from every year level worked with to learn a variety of exciting dance routines, build their confidence and develop their performance skills. The week culminated in a fantastic whole-school showcase on Friday, where students proudly performed what they had learnt for their families.

The highlight of the day was seeing our parents and community members join in the fun, getting up to dance alongside our students and creating a wonderful celebration of joy, connection and togetherness.

A huge thank you to Dance Curriculum for delivering such an engaging and memorable experience. We are so grateful for the energy, enthusiasm and smiles you brought to our school community!

While the parents learn, the kids will....DANCE! The parents at St Dominic's Primary School became the students for the evening, learning all about our Respectful Relationships curriculum. What did the kids do?.….danced the night away!

Last Thursday the Grade 4 children were invited to watch the Mama Mia production at Penola College. 💃 They enjoyed experiencing a live musical production and were engaged by the singing, acting and dancing performances.

Last Friday, the Grade 3 and 4 children visited Melbourne Museum. They participated in the Climate and Environmental Change Workshop, which linked to their Inquiry unit.

Thank you to all of the staff who accompanied our students to these events!
