This week, we celebrate Refugee Week. Inspired by this year’s theme, “A Million Stories,” our students have selected a series of refugee stories and displayed them along the Hickey Foyer for everyone to see as they walk through.

Recently, a group of our Year 9 and 10 students represented the College at the Intermediate Chess Competition.

Yesterday, Year 8 student Vinnie had the incredible opportunity of walking out with the match ball at the FIFA World Cup game in Los Angeles, proudly representing Australia as the KIA Official Ball Carrier.

Some of his classmates gathered in Rivergum Theatre to watch him walk out into the packed stadium!

And the excitement continues as fellow Year 8 student Christiano will also represent Australia in the KIA Official Ball Carrier Competition, carrying the match ball this Saturday.

Congratulations to seven of our students who have been selected for the Vic Metro Squad. They’ll be competing in the Under 18 Boys National Championships over the next couple of weeks.

We wish them all the very best for the Championships.

Today, our Year 7 and Year 12 students took part in the Fáilte Program! Some students headed to Bunjil Park, where they worked with their buddy on a range of team‑building activities.

Our Year 10 and 11 students have started their mid-year exams, while our Year 8 and 9 students will commence theirs next week.
