We are delighted to announce the first Teachers Work and Lives SIG National Policy Forum: Teacher Workforce Futures: Retention, Sustainability, Wellbeing, Leadership, and Educational Futures.
Following strong interest from members, this special event brings together leading scholars to discuss some of the most pressing issues facing the teaching profession today, including workforce shortages, teacher workload, retention, wellbeing, leadership, and long-term sustainability.
We are grateful to Professor Jo Lampert, Associate Professor Anna Hogan, and Professor Scott Eacott for agreeing to contribute to this important conversation, with Steven Kolber serving as Chair.
The forum is intended as a collegial and future-focused discussion that connects research, policy, and practice while creating opportunities for dialogue across the educational community.
