Parenting isn’t about fixing.
It’s about noticing… and responding with care.
When we understand the nervous system, something shifts.
Instead of reacting with frustration, we soften.
Instead of blaming ourselves, we become curious.
Because nervous system literacy changes the way we see both ourselves and our children.
It reminds us that behaviour is communication.
That overwhelm is information.
And that regulation grows through awareness.
This work isn’t about perfection.
It’s about building the capacity to pause before yelling.
To step away and breathe.
To repair after a rupture.
To model emotional intelligence in real time.
And here’s the reminder many parents need to hear:
Caring for your nervous system isn’t selfish.
It’s essential.
Because when you regulate, your child learns how too.

You can’t feel deep joy without feeling deep grief.
We don’t get to selectively experience emotion.
You don’t get full-bodied love, peace, and contentment
without also being willing to meet sorrow, fear, anger, and pain.
In this conversation with Natalie Olson .natalie we speak about something we don’t often say out loud:
You can’t just choose the “good” feelings.
You can’t squash the hard ones
and still expect your nervous system to access the full spectrum of joy.
That’s not how it works.
Emotional depth requires emotional honesty.
The mothers who allow themselves to feel anger, grief, and shame
are the same mothers who can experience love and connection in its fullest expression.
It’s not about being positive.
It’s about being whole.

What if you didn’t have to wait to feel good in motherhood?
Not when life slows down.
Not when things get easier.
Now.
In the small moments.
In your breath.
In giving yourself permission to just be you.
If your soul is calling for more ease, more alignment, and more joy in your parenting… you’re in the right place.
And if you’re ready to go deeper, I’d love to support you.

Things people think Family Yoga is…
❌ Perfect poses
❌ Quiet children
❌ Sitting still
❌ Following instructions perfectly
❌ Performing
What it actually is…
✅ Connection
✅ Giggles
✅ Co-regulation
✅ Confidence building
✅ Real children being real children
✅ Parents and kids moving, breathing, and playing together
✅ Presence
Our classes are intentionally designed to support family nervous systems through movement, mindfulness, breath, touch, play, and connection.
Some children roar like lions.
Some become mermaids.
Some spend half the class upside down.
And all of it is welcome.
Because Family Yoga isn't about getting it right.
It's about creating space for families to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy one another.
If you've been looking for an opportunity to deeply connect with your child in a way that feels playful, meaningful, and supportive, we'd love to welcome you to a class.
The magic isn't in the poses.
It's in the moments between them. 💜

You’re not calming your child(ren) first.
You’re calming the room by calming you.
And one of the most powerful things you can do before bedtime — especially when a new sibling has arrived — is a pre-bedtime reconnection.
Five to ten minutes.
Before the routine begins.
A simple signal that says:
“You matter. This is your time.”
It might look like:
• A cuddle on the couch
• Two minutes of following their play
• Letting them choose the game
“Should mummy be a dinosaur or a puppy?”
I’m a big fan of timers with toddlers and young kids.
It gives their nervous system a clear start and finish.
And those small moments of connection before separation approaches can completely change the tone of bedtime.
Because regulation grows from connection first.

Intuition Is Bliss—But Here’s the Real Challenge.
Tapping into intuition?
Magic.
The downloads.
The clarity.
The knowing that bypasses logic.
It’s expansive.
It’s mind-blowing.
It feels almost otherworldly.
But here’s the part we don’t romanticise enough:
The human challenge isn’t receiving the idea.
It’s executing it.
As Bree shared so honestly — the work isn’t accessing intuition.
It’s sitting down and doing the work.
Because you can live in intuition.
You can live in meditation.
You can float in inspiration.
But creation asks for discipline.
It asks for embodiment.
For structure.
For action.
As Steven Pressfield would say: sit down and do the work.
And as Elizabeth Gilbert reminds us in Big Magic — ideas visit, but they require partnership.
Intuition is bliss.
Ex*****on is devotion.
