On Friday evening, our Year 4–6 students took part in the Vinnies School Sleepout.
This experience gave students a small insight into what it might be like to go without the comforts of home. The children spent part of the evening “sleeping rough” using only cardboard, a sleeping bag, and a pillow. The night patrol vehicles then visited them after they had completed their shift.
A big thank you to the staff members who generously volunteered their time to supervise and support this important experience.

❤️ Sacred Heart Feast Day! ❤️
The children had a magical day filled with acts of service and fun. They made cookies for the homeless, cards for the elderly, planted flowers for the community and learnt about the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Some additional highlights of the day were the cupcakes, sausage sizzle and disco!
Thank you to all the volunteers who made today so successful. ❤️

Last week our Year 3 students enjoyed an exciting excursion to the National Museum of Australia to explore the Great Southern Land exhibition.
Through this immersive experience students reflected on their own connection to Australia- its power and incredible diversity. They also considered how our continent continues to transform and regenerate over time, including the impact of human activity on the land.
It was a meaningful opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of and appreciation for our great southern land 🌏✨
