Welcome to Diamantina’s bug hotel 🐞🐛🌱
Our toddlers will be exploring the wonderful world of insects through an exciting Bug Hotel experience. Using toy bugs and plants ,children will be encouraged to investigate, imagine and discover as they create their own mini bug environment.
Through this hands on experience children will be
🔎developing curiosity as they observe and explore different types of insects
🌱building an understanding of the natural world and living things
🗣️extending language and communication skills as they discuss colours, sizes, movements and features of different bugs
🧠developing problem solving skills as they create spaces for the bugs to hide and explore
🎭Encouraging imaginative play as children create stories and ideas around their bug hotel.
This connects to EYLF V2.0
Outcome 2: children are connected with and contribute to their world.
Outcome 4:children are confident and involved learners.
Outcome5: children are effective communicators.

Nipperville proudly collects plastic bottle tops for Lids4Kids!♻️
Instead of throwing your plastic lids in the bin, bring them into the centre.
We also collect batteries , e-waste and a range of other recyclable items. Be sure to check out the collection list to see what teams you can bring in and help keep out of landfill.🌎
Every item collected helps make a difference and gives us a wonderful opportunity to teach children about caring for our environment and being responsible members of our community.💚♻️🌎
