🌟 Seeking volunteers for two school led events! 🌟

The Community Council is supporting two upcoming school events and we are calling for volunteers.

📅 Event 1: Vinnies Winter Woollies Sausage Sizzle – Friday 19 June, 11:00am – 1:30pm (or timing that you can spare within this window)
📅 Event 2: Vinnies Winter Woollies Sleepout Breaky – Saturday 20 June, 6:00am – 7:30am
Volunteer roles may include:
✅ Event setup and pack-down
✅ Cooking on BBQs
✅ Serving
✅ Cleaning up and general event support

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, contribute to our school community, and help create memorable experiences for students.

Oh no! The chairs went on strike!

Our Year 4s were surprised to discover their chairs had abandoned them this morning. After reading the story Chairs on Strike, students crafted persuasive paragraphs using strong modality, clear sentence structure, and thoughtful promises to encourage their chairs to come back. A wonderfully engaging literacy lesson that sparked excitement and imagination.

Starr's Planetarium continues to engage, amaze and inspire in 2026 as we had our Year 2 and Year 6 students take on an amazing space adventure. Students were immersed in a stunning 360° movie and had the opportunity to explore space through a planetarium incursion. This immersive experience connected to their STEM lessons & further sparked their curiosity about space!💚💙😊

This week in prayer, the Good Shepherd staff have come together each morning to pray for the First responders in our community we have writen words of thanks and shown appreciation for their service. 🙏🏻
