Our Senior Society and culture and Studies of Religion students undertook a unique excursion to experience Buddhist buildings, statues, shrines & gardens of Nan Tien Temple in conjunction with their core HSC unit: Belief Systems & Ideologies.

They gained insight into Buddhism and their beliefs and practices.

The excursion included activities such as an enlightening talk on the basic aspects of Buddhism, calligraphy and an authentic vegetarian lunch.

At Chester Hill High School we know every minute counts towards our students' education.

Being late 5 minutes a day may feel like a small amount but over time it adds up 3 days per year being missed. Consistently being 30 minutes late per day leads to 18 days total missed per year.

School starts at 8:50 am.

On Wednesday 3rd June our talented Chester Hill High School Choir proudly represented our school at the In Concert Combined Senior Choir Festival at the Sydney Opera House.

Since the beginning of the year, our 15 dedicated choir members have worked tirelessly to learn six varied and challenging pieces of repertoire, including a 30-minute Requiem sung in Latin and a beautiful South African song conducted by its composer, Dr Michael Barrett.

A highlight of the evening was performing a Wicked Medley alongside Australia's own Lucy Durack, who originated the role of Glinda in the Australian stage production of Wicked.

A heartfelt thank you to the parents and families of our choir members. Your support of our students and the school's participation in this prestigious event helped make the experience truly special.

Congratulations to our choir on an outstanding achievement. We are incredibly proud of you!
