We were truly overwhelmed by the incredible support shown by our community. What made the day even more special was seeing so many people walk through our doors simply because they saw our social media posts and chose to support our young artists. Many of you came without a personal invitation, purely out of a love for art, creativity, and community—and for that, we are deeply grateful.

To our students, thank you for sharing your imagination, courage, and creativity with us. To the parents and families, thank you for your ongoing encouragement and belief in your children’s artistic journeys.

The exhibition was not just a display of artwork; it was a celebration of self-expression, confidence, and the limitless potential of every child.

The hardest part of art class? Choosing the perfect colour! Our 4–5 year old artists getting ready to create their next masterpiece.

Weekend Magic at Sketchroo!

From vibrant pastel chameleons bursting with personality to delicate watercolour landscapes, lilies, and expressive portraits, our young artists explored a wide range of techniques and styles this weekend.

Every artwork tells a different story:
Bold oil pastel creations on toned paper
Watercolour studies inspired by nature
Atmospheric landscapes and reflections
Expressive portraiture using colour and tone
Charcoal drawings that showcase developing shading skills

What makes us most proud is not just the finished artwork, but the creativity, confidence, and individuality each student brings to the studio.

At Sketchroo, we encourage children to experiment, take artistic risks, and discover their own unique artistic voice.

Wednesday’s Art Class – Mountains, Rivers & Imagination!

Our young artists explored the beauty of landscapes using soft oil pastels on toned paper, creating dramatic mountains, winding rivers, colourful skies, and bold contrasts. Each artwork reflects a unique interpretation of nature, proving that the same theme can inspire countless creative possibilities.

From glowing sunsets to snow-capped peaks, these budding artists learned how to use colour, shape, and composition to turn simple forms into striking works of art.

Tuesday’s 4–5 Year Olds Class

Using vibrant soft oil pastels on toned paper, our youngest artists transformed simple shapes into colourful horses full of character and imagination.

The dark background allowed the bright colours to shine, while each child added their own creative touches with flowers, suns, stars, and expressive details. It’s wonderful to see how confidently these young artists explore colour, shape, and storytelling through art.

Every masterpiece is unique, just like the little artist who created it!
