Happy Sunday!

During the week, the children listened to the story of the Ten Lepers from Luke 17:11–19, a powerful reminder of the importance of gratitude.

Jesus healed ten men suffering from leprosy, yet only one, a Samaritan, returned to thank Him.
A beautiful lesson for us all: to always pause, reflect, and give thanks.

Our St Kevin’s Playgroup friends had another fun morning together.

They enjoyed painting and decorating their rock friends, searching for animal treasures on a scavenger hunt, and listening to the ocean while discovering shells in all shapes and sizes.

The children also practised their counting skills as they matched bugs, such great learning through play!

We finished our morning with the beautiful story of Olga the Brolga.

Just a friendly reminder that our Winter Warmer Week is happening tomorrow! Please ensure all food item donations are brought to classrooms by Friday 19 June. 🥫💙

📚 Author Visit – Sam Summers 📚

We’re excited to welcome author Sam Summers to St Kevin’s on Wednesday, 24 June for our Stage 2 and Stage 3 students!

Sam is the author of The Lost Defenders, and this is a fantastic opportunity for students to meet a real author and hear about the creative process behind the book.

Students who already own a copy are encouraged to bring it along on the day to have it personally signed. If you don’t have a copy yet, The Lost Defenders is available for purchase at Big W or Amazon.

We’re looking forward to an inspiring visit! ✨📖

☕ Community Morning Tea

We warmly invite parents and carers to join us for a special Morning Tea on Tuesday 16 June at 9:00am, as we come together in support of this important cause.
Let us unite as a school community to show kindness, compassion and care for those in need. 💙

🌟 Winter Warmer Week – Supporting Our Community 🌟

Mrs Magill, Mrs Hughes and our Mission Leaders are excited to host Winter Warmer Week, raising awareness of those experiencing hardship while supporting the incredible work of St Vincent de Paul.
🥫 Food Drive
Each class is invited to donate specific food items throughout the week. Our Mission Leaders will visit classrooms daily to collect donations—thank you in advance for your generosity!
