Portrait Painters in Action Day returns to VAS on Saturday 11 July 2026!
This free event invites visitors to experience the many ways artists capture their sitters. Watch artworks come to life, discover each artist’s unique style and process, and gain an insight into the practice of portrait painting.

⏰ Saturday 11 July, 11am–4pm
☕ Coffee cart open all day!
Visitors are welcome to bring along a sketchbook and draw, or simply enjoy observing the artists at work.
