πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Regional Cross Country Championships πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Emerald Secondary College was proudly represented by a large team of students at this year's Regional Cross Country Championships, with all competitors demonstrating determination, resilience and excellent sportsmanship throughout the event.

A special congratulations goes to Connor (Year 7), who achieved an outstanding result, finishing 8th in his age group and qualifying for the State Cross Country Championships. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to his hard work and dedication.

We also congratulate Zac on an excellent performance, finishing 11th in his age group and narrowly missing qualification for the State Championships. His effort and determination were commendable, and he should be extremely proud of his result.

Well done to all students who represented Emerald Secondary College. We are incredibly proud of your efforts and the way you represented our school. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘

β„οΈπŸŽ΅ Winter Concert πŸŽ΅β„οΈ

A huge congratulations to our incredible students and the Instrumental Music team led by Katrina Owen, for an outstanding Winter Concert last Thursday. The evening was filled with exceptional performances, showcasing the depth of talent across the program.

What made the night even more special was that it was entirely student-led. From the stunning artworks projection mapped in the EPAC foyer, to our student photographers capturing the event, confident student MCs guiding the evening and Interact Club students managing ticket sales. Every element of the night exemplified our school values of excellence and harmony.

We are so proud of everyone who performed and contributed to making the night such a success. πŸ’ͺ

πŸ’› World's Greatest Shave 2026 πŸ’›

Friday wasn't just about shaving off hair, it was about courage, compassion and community.

Three brave students stepped forward to support the World's Greatest Shave, raising an incredible $1,631 for a cause that touches so many lives. A special shout-out to Luke N, who raised over $1,200 and generously donated his long locks to help others.

What stood out most was the atmosphere. Students packed the quadrangle, staff gathered alongside them, and the support from the crowd was something special. The cheering, laughter, encouragement and school spirit on display were a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together behind a great cause.

We are incredibly proud of Luke, Kaelan and Noah, and grateful to everyone who donated, supported and helped make the event such a success.

Take a look at some of the highlights from the day! πŸ“Έ
