🎬🇬🇷 Our Year 7-9 students have been exploring the life, music and legacy of the legendary Stelios Kazantzidis as part of their current unit of learning.

Today, students began watching the film Υπάρχω (Yparho), which tells the remarkable story of one of Greece’s most beloved singers. Through this unit, students are developing their understanding of Greek language, history, culture and the impact Kazantzidis had on generations of Greeks both in Greece and across the diaspora.

We look forward to continuing our discussions and activities as we delve deeper into the life and achievements of this iconic figure of Greek music. 🎶✨

💙🤍 What a fantastic day at our Panhellenic College Fete! 🤍💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, supported our students and helped make the day such a wonderful success. It was incredible to see our school community come together to celebrate, connect, and enjoy a day filled with fun, laughter and Greek & Cypriot spirit.

Our students worked tirelessly to prepare their stalls and should be incredibly proud of their efforts:

🧿 Year 3 & 4 showcased their creativity with their Komboloi Stall.

🎨 Year 5 & 6 impressed us with their “Mamagkami” Origami Stall.

☕🍰 Year 7-9, together with Prep-Year 2, ran a delightful Coffee & Cake Stall, featuring delicious treats made and donated by our coordinator and friends of Panhellenic College. Not to mention beautiful persimmons kindly donated by one of our generous teachers.

🌯 Year 10-12 students worked hard behind the scenes, assisting in the canteen and helping serve our souvlakia.

We also enjoyed a range of indoor games and activities that brought smiles to faces of all ages throughout the day.

A special thank you to the Mill Park Soccer Club and to John Christou the President of the Cyprus Community Northern Suburbs Melbourne and it’s members for their support and extremely generous donation that will be provided to our sister school in Ypsonas, Limassol Cyprus.

We would also like to acknowledge and sincerely thank our dedicated staff, who generously volunteered their own time and energy to ensure the fete ran smoothly. Your commitment to our students and community does not go unnoticed.

Today, we celebrate and honour all the incredible women who play such an important role in our lives!Mothers, grandmothers, stepmums, godmothers, aunties, sisters, carers and every important female figure who supports, guides and loves us unconditionally 💐

On Friday, our students enjoyed visiting the Mother’s Day stall organised by our Parent & Guardian Committee, where they picked out special goodies and gifts for their loved ones with so much excitement and care. It was wonderful to see the thought and love that went into every choice 💝

We hope all of our families and loved ones had a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love, appreciation and special moments.

On Friday the 22nd of May we have planned an evening full of fun, food, games and community spirit! All while supporting a meaningful cause 💙

Come along, enjoy the amazing stalls run by our students, grab a Greek coffee, sweet treat or maybe a komboloi and origami flower! And stay for our special dancing performance 💃🕺

All proceeds from the night will go towards supporting our sister school in Cyprus 🇨🇾

Welcome back to Term 2! 💙🤍

We kicked things off the best way we know how! With a delicious sausage sizzle, kindly organised by our amazing Parent & Guardian Committee 🌭👏 followed by “Zorba ‘til you drop” 💃🕺

The energy, the laughter and the spirit of our community made for such a special start to the term!

This is going to be a big one, and we can’t wait to see all that our students achieve 🇬🇷✨

What a beautiful way to end Term 1! 🌸🐣

Last Friday, our students enjoyed a special Easter Immersion Day, learning all about Orthodox Easter traditions ✨

From exploring the meaning behind this important celebration to getting hands on with activities, it was a day full of culture, creativity and joy! 🐣

Our students baked delicious koulourakia, created their own Easter baskets 🧺, dyed red eggs and decorated lovely lambades 🕯️ to take home. To top it all off, they had so much fun participating in an exciting Easter egg hunt, kindly organised by our wonderful dance teacher, Eleni T. 🐰🥚💛

A huge well done to all our students for their enthusiasm and participation! It was truly a memorable day!

A massive thank you to our parent/ guardian committee who continues to support us with our activities! We wouldn’t be able to do this without you!
