Congratulations to our Open Division 1 Netball team, winning the Premiership at Monday’s inaugural ACC Netball Championships. Well done also to our Division 2 team, finishing 3rd Place overall in their competition. This year’s ACC Reconciliation Game is being played onsite today St Joseph’s College v Parade College. The match celebrates the contributions of First Nations People to Australian Football and Community. Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony 1.10pm. Kick off 1.30pm.
National Reconciliation Week is observed annually from 27 May to 3 June. These exact dates commemorate two major milestones in Australia’s reconciliation journey: the 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision 🔴🟡⚫️

Our Year 12 VCE VM students put their teamwork skills and competitiveness to the test in a visit to Hijinx Hotel. Students had to work together to complete challenge rooms before competing against each other in Mini-Golf.

Hijinx Hotel is made up of multiple sets of 5 challenge rooms where players work together to complete challenges and score points. Each room is designed for 2-6 players, and the group must score as many points as possible within 4 minutes, before moving on to the next room.

A recent Year 12 Biology experiment based on Cellular Respiration challenged students to observe, analyse and think like real researchers. Their focus, teamwork and problem‑solving made the lab feel like a mini research centre. Moments like these remind us why practical science matters - it turns knowledge into understanding.
Francis de Sales Cross is home to the College’s Science, IT and STEM facilities which showcase explicit instruction and practical areas enabling students to fully embrace the MACS (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools) Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement
