The Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) funds the VDC to provide opportunities to the Victorian workforce at Skills First providers and Learn Local providers.
As part of the Workforce Development initiative targeting organisational capability, VDC has developed the Workforce Development Grant opportunity for operational innovation and workforce capability projects to selected providers that meet the criteria.
Applications are now open for Semester 2, and aims to provide financial support to Skills First providers and Learn Local providers to build workforce capability and development within the VET Sectors to support training providers in maintaining quality practices.
Five (5) grants of $10,000 will be available in Semester 2 to successful applicants.

The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions is offering scholarships to people pursuing a rewarding career as an adult language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) educator in Learn Local settings in Victoria.
Scholarships are now available for people to commence study in an approved adult LLN teaching qualification or skillset. Scholarships are available to prospective, new and existing Learn Local teachers and practitioners. Details are available via the link.
