June's Calendar of Events for Chipmunks by the Bay 💚

At Chipmunks by the Bay, our week was filled with meaningful conversations and gentle learning as we explored Reconciliation Week together 🌿🪾

The children were introduced to the concept of saying “Sorry” in age-appropriate ways, learning how to play respectfully alongside one another, care for their friends, and express their feelings with kindness and empathy. Through stories, discussions, and everyday interactions, we encouraged children to understand the importance of respect, belonging, and caring for others.

These early experiences help build strong foundations for compassion, understanding, and connection within our community. 💛

Our clever little builders have been busy creating amazing houses using large and small wooden blocks in all different shapes and sizes. Through teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, the children explored balance, design, and spatial awareness while working together to bring their ideas to life.

To extend their learning, the children incorporated kitchen resources from our home corner into their play, pretending to cook meals, serve food, and organise their homes. These imaginative experiences encouraged communication, confidence, social interaction, and real-life learning in a fun and meaningful way.
