Our Year 6 Leaders are proudly supporting the St. Vincent de Paul winter blanket appeal to help members of local community stay warm this winter. ๐ฉถ
We are seeking donations of new blankets, which will be distributed to those in need throughout the Innaloo community. Donations can be dropped off at admin by 30 June.

Lucky students from Pre-Primary explored how books can transport us to magical worlds, spark our imaginations, and inspire endless adventures. A reminder that there is magic waiting to be discovered on every library shelf. ๐ซ

Last Friday, our Year 1โ6 students enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to Perth Zoo, extending their classroom learning through real-world experiences.
Students participated in the engaging Habitat Heroes program, delivered by the friendly Zoo Education team, where they learned about animal habitats, conservation, and even had the opportunity to meet and pat Parker the Bobtail Lizard! ๐ฆ
Throughout the day, classes explored the zoo, discovering a wide variety of animals and taking part in informative talks and feeding sessions. Students enthusiastically asked questions, engaged with zoo staff, and gained valuable insights into the natural world. ๐ค
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who supported us throughout the excursion. Your time, assistance, and enthusiasm helped make the day such a success, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. Throughout this term, our Year 6 Student Leadership Team has been raising awareness for LifeLink. Each week our student leaders have organised activities to help students learn about the many ways LifeLink agencies provide support and care within our community. ๐ซถ
This week, students focused on supporting the Emmaus Community. During a special beading and mindfulness lunch break, students came together to reflect, connect and learn about the importance of kindness, compassion and supporting others. A beautiful way of building meaningful connections across our school while supporting a worthy cause. ๐ฟ
This Friday morning, students will host a produce stall in the courtyard before school. Fresh produce from our school garden will be available for a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going directly to LifeLink. We encourage our school community to come along, support the initiative and help make a difference.

Over the past few weeks, our Year 6 students have been exploring fractions, decimals and percentages as part of their mathematics learning. To celebrate the end of the unit, students put their knowledge into practice by creating their own pizzas for lunch. ๐
From planning ingredients to calculating portions, students used their understanding of fractions, decimals and percentages in a real-world context. It was a delicious way to demonstrate their learning while having plenty of fun along the way! ๐

What a fantastic effort from our students at the interschool cross country competition yesterday! From start to finish, they showed determination, resilience, teamwork and incredible school spirit. ๐
