We love to chat! 🗣️💙
Mrs Carter’s Friday Chatterbox is always a highlight of the week! Through fun and engaging discussions, our students are building important speaking and listening skills, learning to listen attentively to others, share their ideas respectfully and speak confidently in front of a group.
From thoughtful conversations to lots of laughter, Friday Chatterbox is helping our students find their voice and celebrate the power of communication. ✨
That’s the EPS difference – creating confident communicators, one conversation at a time.

Our Cakes and Cookies Stall was an absolute success! 🍪🧁
It was a wonderful way to celebrate the final weeks of term while raising funds for our school.
A huge thank you to all of our families who donated delicious treats and supported the stall. We were blown away by your generosity and the incredible response from our community.
Thank you also to our students and staff who helped make the day so much fun.
We can’t wait to do it all again — our next Cakes and Cookies Stall will be held in Week 5, Term 3! 💙💛

This week, 3K have been busy exploring 3D objects by creating their own models using popsicle sticks and playdough!
Students worked collaboratively to construct a range of 3D shapes, investigating their features including faces, edges and vertices in a hands-on and engaging way.
Check out their amazing creations and the fantastic problem-solving, creativity and teamwork on display! 🌟📐

Eastlakes is becoming a force to be reckoned with in Public Speaking, and today’s Zone Final was no exception!
Today, Eastlakes Public School proudly hosted the 2026 Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition, welcoming students from seven neighbouring schools for a day of outstanding speeches, thoughtful ideas and rich discussions.
Our students represented Eastlakes with confidence, courage and pride. Congratulations to Caius, Azkyara, Zara and Muwatta for their fantastic efforts and the way they showcased their speaking skills in front of a large audience.
A special congratulations to Caius and Muwatta, who were both named Runner-Up in their respective stage finals — an incredible achievement against strong competition from across the network.
We are so proud of all four students for the dedication, preparation and resilience they demonstrated throughout the competition. They continue to show that Eastlakes students are capable, confident communicators with important stories and perspectives to share.

Our teachers are very talented… and not just at teaching 👀✨
On this week’s Teacher Tuesday, we asked our staff to share their hidden talents or a fun fact about themselves.
Let’s just say… even we were impressed by some of the answers 😱
Stay tuned to learn a little more about the amazing people behind the classrooms!
