Cherry Blossom Early Learning Centre

This Tuesday, the children participated in a pizza-making experience as part of our Cooking Class program. The experience provided opportunities for children to engage in collaborative learning while developing social skills through shared interactions, turn-taking, communication, and decision-making with peers. Children demonstrated growing autonomy and agency by independently selecting and adding ingredients of their choice. Hygiene practices were reinforced throughout the experience, supporting children’s understanding of health, safety, and personal responsibility. The use of tongs to transfer ingredients also promoted the development of fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and control.

Nature Play Week fun. Yesterday the children loved playing with Autumn leaves in our local park.

Yesterday we were out and about again to our local neighbourhood. We visited Josophan's - Fine Chocolates store for morning tea and enjoyed our complementary fish chocolates and coffees for educators. The weather was lovely and the children explored the shop excitedly, noticing all the colourful Easter Eggs and Bunnies.

Last Tuesday we had an excursion to our local Lily's Pad Cafe. It was accessible with our very large pram and the staff was so lovely and accommodating. The children really enjoyed their babyccinos and we had a wonderful time.
