​Our Years 4–6 students have officially begun an incredible journey into the world of creative writing!

​Over the next term, our young writers will be participating in the Launchpad Writing Program, working closely with fantastic Australian author Ander Louis.

​Students will be developing, drafting, and refining their very own narrative stories.

The ultimate goal? Every student's work will be published in a real, professional anthology that they will get to keep forever!

​We can’t wait to see their imaginations come to life on the page. Stay tuned for updates from our budding authors!

Year 10 Queensland Camp Day 4

Our Campers took on Dreamworld yesterday! They spent the day exploring the thrills and excitement of Dreamworld, making memories, challenging themselves on the rides, and enjoying time together. From rollercoasters to plenty of laughs with friends, it was a fantastic day filled with fun!

Year 10 Queenside Camp Day 3

Today the campers were at TreeTop Challenge at Thunderbird Park! Our students tackled ropes, ladders, nets, and flying foxes with courage and determination. They stepped outside their comfort zones, gave every challenge a go, and made us incredibly proud!

While our Senior Students are busy with their exams, we can celebrate their learning earlier on in the term! Our Year 12 students participated in an Exercise physiology session at La Trobe university , testing their speed and endurance on the bike.

Year 10 Queensland Camp Day 2

What an action-packed second day for our Year 10 students!
The day kicked off with plenty of excitement at Wet'n'Wild, where students enjoyed thrilling waterslides, wave pools, and plenty of fun in the sunshine. Back at camp, the energy continued with some friendly (and competitive!) volleyball matches, showcasing great teamwork, sportsmanship, and plenty of laughs.
To top off an already fantastic day, there was a surprise birthday celebration!

On Wednesday 3 June and Thursday 4 June, our first and second year VET Electrotechnology students participated in an industry excursion to Spark North East Link – providing a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experience.

Year 10 Queensland Camp Day 1
Our Campers arrived early to school in the darkness of the morning, with many of them having had little sleep. But the sun and warmth of Queensland woke the excitement and energy pretty quickly! They surfed the afternoon away, and are settling for the night.

✨ RESPECT & CONNECT ✨

In preparation for their Queensland Camp, our Year 10 students stepped outside their comfort zones, connected with new people, worked together to build a 4,000-piece domino line, created and learned a dance routine, and took the opportunity to big-up their peers. A big thanks to characterbuilders.aus for coming out and running this workshop!
