Last week, we were excited to welcome the dynamic duo from The Silly Scientist, who captivated our Year 1–6 students with an exploration of the fascinating world of science.
Students were fully engaged throughout, with many enjoying the opportunity to participate in fun, interactive demonstrations on stage. It was a fantastic experience that not only sparked curiosity but also reflected the wonder and awe of God’s creation—reminding us of His incredible power, creativity, and perfect design.
Following the visit, our teachers have continued these conversations back in the classroom, encouraging students to further explore and appreciate God’s creative design in the world around them.
This week we continue focusing on our Core Value of Integrity. Mrs Barber, Head of Secondary, shared a message reminding us that while the world values wealth and influence, God values the heart. True wealth is found in honesty, keeping your word, and doing what is right—even when no one is watching or it costs you.
In contrast, those who choose deceit or manipulate others may gain temporary success, but it eventually leads to broken trust and failure.
Students were encouraged to reflect:
Do I value worldly success or godly character?
Am I choosing the easy way over the right way?
Do my words and actions align in truth?
Prayer:
“Lord, give me an honest and true heart. Help me to value integrity above material success, and may my words and actions honour You each day.”

At Foundation Christian College, we value the Arts, and our Music Program is something we are incredibly proud of. With almost 100 students participating, our talented tutors work onsite with students throughout the school day, nurturing their skills and confidence.
Twice a year, our students are given the opportunity to shine at our Music Recitals, and this week’s performances on Tuesday and Wednesday were no exception. It was wonderful to see our students showcase what they have been working on, and we are so proud of how far each of them has come.
Performing in front of an audience can be very nerve-wracking, but every student showed courage, did their very best, and performed beautifully to a warm and encouraging crowd.
A heartfelt thank you to our parents and families for your ongoing support—it makes such a difference in helping our students grow and thrive in their musical journey.

Our Year 3 cohort was delighted to welcome our Patron of History, Mr Kevin Fowler, for a very special visit this morning.
Mr Fowler shared fascinating stories of school and everyday life from his childhood, giving students a glimpse into the past and sparking curiosity, laughter, and thoughtful questions. Our students were captivated, gaining a deeper appreciation for how much has changed and the opportunities we have today.
A big thank you to Mr Fowler for bringing history to life in such a meaningful and memorable way!
This week, our staff and students were encouraged to reflect on Psalm 15:1–2 and consider how integrity is first nurtured in the heart and mind. True alignment begins within. When our hearts and minds are aligned with God, it naturally flows into our speech and conduct.
The power of the Gospel:
Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, and His subsequent ascension to heaven have made it possible for us to access our Heavenly Father anytime, anywhere.
We no longer need a special tent or to offer sacrifices to approach God. Through Jesus’ blood, which covers our sin, we are made spotless in the sight of the Father and can come before Him with confidence.
As you go about your week, remember that through Jesus’ work, you are now the sacred tent—the tabernacle—carrying God’s Holy Spirit within you.
May you shine brightly.

Yesterday, our Year 6 students had the wonderful opportunity to visit Parliament House and the Electoral Education Centre. Throughout the excursion, students gained valuable insight into the democratic process, experiencing voting in action and deepening their understanding of how laws are made in Western Australia.
A highlight of the day was the chance to sit in both chambers of Parliament, providing an authentic and engaging learning experience that brought their classroom studies to life.
