M6 enjoyed the sunshine today. We ate lunch in the outdoor garden and practised our balancing skills with our Humpty Dumpty Egg designs on the oval ☀️

Last Thursday, EC15 explored weight and measurement using balance scales. The students investigated a variety of classroom objects, making predictions and comparing which items were heavier, lighter, or the same weight.

Through hands-on play, students developed their skills by observing, comparing, problem-solving, and using language such as heavy, light, heavier than, and lighter than. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement as they tested their ideas and made new discoveries!

Today in M3 we celebrated Sage’s birthday. Thank you to Sage’s family for bringing some yummy food !

This week in Pre-Kindy we started our new Humpty Dumpty theme!

We had lots of fun building a wall for Humpty Dumpty and helping to put Humpty back together again. We explored numbers hidden inside eggs, matched coloured eggs, and enjoyed some sensory play with kinetic sand.

During our craft activity, we practised our scissor skills and created arms and legs for our own Humpty Dumpty. We also enjoyed both indoor and outdoor play, exploring, sharing and having fun with our friends.

It was another busy and exciting session full of learning through play.

We can't wait to see what adventures Humpty Dumpty brings next week!

EC10 have been working hard during their literacy, numeracy and independent work sessions. It’s wonderful to see them persevering and trying their best! What a super job EC10!

EC9 have celebrated Oliver’s birthday this week and been busy independently completing TEACCH based tasks. Keep up the great work EC9!

Today in M3 we made colourful coconut scented soap to support our life skills and health lessons on hand washing and hygiene. 🫧 👐 🫧

🧑‍🍳 EC15 chefs making mini pizza 🧑‍🍳
During our cooking sessions we practise good hygiene by washing out hand first, using equipment safely, and sharing- making sure there is one for each member of the class. The children carefully spread their pizza paste using a knife responsibly and respectfully.
We all chose to put ham and cheese on top. Once it was cooked only a few of us decided to eat it, some of us have packed it in our lunch boxes to try later if we feel like it. Well done EC15!
