The Australian Reptile Park offered students an up-close encounter with some incredible creatures, helping them understand the importance of wildlife and their role in maintaining a healthy planet. Students learnt about their lifestyle, diet, habitat, defense mechanisms, predators and much more. KM1 students participated in an incursion focused on reusing items, reducing waste, and the importance of recycling. Using commercial offcuts and products, they worked together to create outdoor play equipment and explored how materials can be reused in new ways. This experience encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and an understanding of sustainable practices.

The College was excited to welcome contemporary Greek Artist, Caroline Rovithi, as part of her “Two Homelands. One Heart” Australian visit. Bringing her art, her spirit, and a little piece of Greece all the way home to us.
Caroline presented her vision and her story to aspiring Visual Arts students who then took part in a “Release Your Inner Tsarouchi” workshop where the students drew upon the inspiring works to produce their version with the tagline “We can do it”.
We thank Caroline for bringing her love of Greek art, culture, and community to the College.

Last Week, our Year 10 students visited the Junior Campus to share this year’s National Simultaneous Storytime book, Luna Roo, with students from Kindy Minus 1 to Year 3, while Years 4–6 joined the event online in their classrooms.
Our Year 10 students loved the opportunity to connect with our younger students, share their passion for reading, and build relationships across the College. The experience was a wonderful success, and they are already looking forward to collaborating with the Junior Campus again during Book Week where the theme is 'Symphony of Stories'.
