We caught up with some of our Glee Kids to hear how they’re feeling about the Mid-Year Concert this Sunday, the 21st of June, and what they’re most excited for. From performing on stage to singing with friends, the excitement is definitely building!

✨ What a night at Palomino’s.

Our incredible voice teacher Josie Bakker took to the stage, performing a mix of originals from her EP alongside some crowd-favourite covers. 🎤❤️

It was so special to see Josie sharing her music with a live audience. Her originals connected with the crowd, the covers had everyone singing along, and it was clear she was having a great time up there.

A huge congratulations to Josie on such a fantastic performance, and a big shoutout to the team at Palomino’s for creating such a beautiful space for live music.

We’re already looking forward to the next one. 🎶

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: PEARL 🎸

Pearl has grown up in front of our eyes.

From her early private lessons to years of band rehearsals, performances and now playing with her band Seldoon, we’ve had the privilege of watching her musical journey unfold.

Over that time, we’ve seen her develop not only as a bass player, but as a confident and valued member of our music community. Seeing students like Pearl find their passion, build friendships and continue to challenge themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

We’re so proud of the musician and person she’s become, and can’t wait to see what comes next 💛🎶
