Seeing one of our young community members proudly wearing her father's basketball jersey is a beautiful reminder of how sport inspires the next generation. It represents family, dedication, hard work, and the dreams that connect parents and children.
Sport creates lifelong friendships, teaches resilience, and unites people from all backgrounds. Whether on the court, field, track, or in the stands, every athlete, volunteer, coach, parent, and supporter plays a role in building stronger, healthier communities.

🧘‍♀️🌿 International Yoga Day 🌿🧘‍♂️

Today, our children across all age groups came together to celebrate International Yoga Day! Through fun and engaging yoga experiences, children explored different poses, breathing techniques, balance, and mindfulness.

Yoga provides many wonderful benefits for young children, including supporting physical development, coordination, strength, flexibility, concentration, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. It also encourages children to slow down, listen to their bodies, and develop healthy habits that support both their minds and bodies.

It was wonderful to see our children embracing new challenges, building confidence, and enjoying moments of calm, movement, and connection throughout the day. 💚

This week our Kinder children explored clay, a rich and engaging sensory experience that supports learning across many developmental areas.

Working with clay helps strengthen fine motor skills as children squeeze, roll, pinch, and mould the material, building the hand muscles needed for writing and self-help tasks. Larger movements involved in manipulating clay also support gross motor development and coordination.

Clay provides endless opportunities for creativity and self-expression, allowing children to bring their ideas to life, solve problems, and think critically as they create. Through open-ended experiences like this, children build confidence, persistence, imagination, and a sense of pride in their achievements.

Learning through play is powerful, and clay is a wonderful tool for supporting children’s growth, creativity, and development.
