Important conversations, like the one our Pre-Kindred group engaged in today, play a vital role in supporting their sense of belonging and agency After reading “My teacher and Me”, the children’s voices were captured as they shared the expectations of the educators.

Pre-kindergarten children participated in a hands-on maths experience focused on one-to-one correspondence and number recognition. The group began with a shared discussion of numbers on the whiteboard, followed by an individual bead-threading activity where children selected a number card and counted out the matching number of beads.

Our kinder children have been exploring rhyming words and learning how some words share the same ending sounds. They eagerly joined in discussions and proudly shared their own rhyming examples.

Exploring emotions the children in Toddler Two engaged in a fun and meaningful activity, matching coloured pompom sticks to the corresponding feeling monster faces.
They showed wonderful focus and enthusiasm as they sorted colours while talking about emotions and facial expressions.

Toddler 1 strengthened their fine motor skills as they explored building homes for Australian animals. During Reconciliation Week, the children and educators shared stories encouraged curiosity, questions and conversations about the animals and their habitats
