Our children have been busy creating their very own Mini City using recycled boxes and materials. Inspired by the places and buildings they see in their local community, they shared ideas, made plans, and worked together to bring their vision to life.
As the project grows, children are developing a deeper understanding of the community around them and the important places that help us connect and belong.
Along the way, they have also been exploring letter recognition, writing, puzzles, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning experiences that support their confidence, creativity, and thinking skills.
We can't wait to see how our Mini City continues to grow!

A Special Moment with Our Community Heroes
During last Friday’s firefighter visit, we discovered that it was one of the firefighters’ birthdays!
Our children were excited to sing Happy Birthday and help make his day extra special. They also presented the firefighters with a thank-you card to show their appreciation for everything they do for our community.
It was a beautiful moment of kindness, gratitude, and connection between our children and these real-life heroes.
Thank you again to our local firefighters for spending time with us and inspiring our young learners.
This feels like a really Goodstart.
A Visit from Our Community Heroes
Today, our children were excited to welcome local firefighters and their fire truck to our centre!
The children had the opportunity to learn about fire safety, get to see the fire truck, and meet the amazing firefighters who help keep our community safe every day.
It was a wonderful hands-on experience and a chance to meet some real-life heroes. Thank you to our local firefighters for taking the time to visit and inspire our children.

Learning Through Play in Our 3-Year-Old Kinder Room
Our 3-year-old learning environment is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Through hands-on experiences, open-ended resources, and meaningful interactions with educators, children are encouraged to learn, discover, and grow at their own pace.
Whether they are building, creating, reading, investigating, or engaging in imaginative play, every area of the room provides opportunities for learning and development.
We believe the environment is a powerful teacher, inspiring children to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

🖤💛❤️ Learning About Reconciliation ❤️💛🖤
Last week, our Kinder children have been exploring the meaning of Reconciliation Week and what it means to come together with kindness, respect, and understanding.
Using wooden figures to represent people in a community, the children shared thoughtful ideas such as, "We are all friends," "Everyone is different," and "We can play together."
Through this experience, children explored belonging, connection, inclusion, and the importance of respecting one another.
By learning these values from an early age, children are building the foundations for a more inclusive and respectful future.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment, we are continuing to refine our supervision practices and strengthen communication and teamwork across the service, ensuring all children are well supported throughout the day.
