Our Prep students had an amazing time with Wildlife Xposure!

Students met a range of Australian animals up close and learnt about their habitats, diets and unique features. The incursion sparked lots of curiosity and excitement and served as a fantastic provocation for our upcoming Inquiry unit on Living Things.

What a memorable hands-on learning experience!

Last week, the Grade 1 students enjoyed an exciting excursion to Werribee Mansion to conclude our History unit, Exploring the Past and Present.

Throughout the day, students explored the magnificent Werribee Mansion and learned about what life was like in the past. A highlight of the excursion was visiting the Toy Room, where students had the opportunity to play with traditional toys, experience what school was like many years ago, and enjoy an engaging puppet show.

Students also explored the beautiful Lake Grotto, visited the laundry, and discovered the farm area, helping them gain a deeper understanding of daily life in the past.

The Grade 1 students had a fantastic day filled with learning, exploration, and fun. We are very proud of the way they represented our school and engaged with the historical experiences throughout the excursion.
