We’re a small, young team (average age of 21), but that’s by design. It means we understand the pressure students are under, and how much the right kind of support can make a difference.

Over the last few years, we’ve supported hundreds of Melbourne families, not just with academics, but with confidence, consistency, and trust.

We’re not a tutor marketplace, but rather a real, human team working closely with you from the very first conversation.

New year, new chapter. This is T.M.J. Tutoring in 2025 🚀

Four years ago, we started with a simple yet ambitious goal: to become Australia’s most loved network of tutors. Continuing to be inspired by the challenges students and families faced during the COVID-19 era, we’ve built a team that believes in the power of real connection. With over 300 specialised tutors, we’re committed to delivering individualised, in-person and online tutoring that empowers students beyond the classroom. This year, we’re growing, refining, and striving to be better than ever 🌟

To kick off this new chapter, we collaborated with the incredibly talented Molly Burmeister for a late-2024 photoshoot that captures the heart of our team. These images reflect not just our expanded team but also our vision - a supportive, inspiring, and driven tutoring network that puts mentorship and connection at the forefront of education.
