There is a bit of overlap with teaching people how to read the Bible well, and how to perform Shakespeare. They are both ancient texts that people find outdated, boring and confusing. It is both the actor and the Bible readers job to help people see how exciting, interesting and relevant these texts are, despite their age.
In this video, the advice is about Shakespeare, but I hope you can see how it can apply to thinking about what words to emphasise when publicly reading the Bible.
