🍃💚 What a fantastic way to celebrate World Environment Day! 💚🍃
Last week, our students and staff, led by our passionate Sustainability Club, came together to show that small actions can make a difference.
The day featured:
🌱 Plant-based bake sale
🏀 Trashket-ball challenge
🎨 Face painting
♻️ Second-hand & green free dress day
All funds raised will go to improving the sustainability of our school.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered and supported the day. Together, we’re proving that sustainability starts with community and grows through everyday choices.

To mark our BHHS students are reflecting on climate change - on the urgent signals the Earth is sending and the signals we choose to send back. UNEP’s global campaign calls on all of us to step in and steer a world already in motion. Activities are happening across the school today - including free dress, face painting, a plant based bake sale, Trashket-ball, Sustaina-tree collaborative artwork and more! All money raised will go towards the sustainability of our school 🍃🌏

To mark National Reconciliation Week, and as part of our school’s ongoing commitment to reconciliation, our students have been taking time to engage in meaningful learning experiences that honour and celebrate the cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Through classroom discussions, storytelling, and shared experiences, we continue to build understanding and unity within our diverse school community.

Staff and students joined services this morning, paying their respects and reflecting on the service and sacrifice of those who came before them. In our foyer you will find the names of the young Box Hill High School men recorded and memorialised. These are the names of those who fought for our freedoms, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Lest we forget.
