During our recent staff meeting, we took the opportunity to revisit and reflect on our room/area supervision plans. Each room shared their practices and engaged in meaningful discussions about the effectiveness of our supervision strategies, ensuring that every child remains safe, supported, and actively engaged throughout the day.
These reflective conversations allow us to continually improve our practices, strengthen our teamwork, and maintain the highest standards of care for the children and families in our community.
Together, we are committed to creating environments where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Beaumaris team had the valuable opportunity to attend a professional development training focused on understanding young people who have experienced trauma and how we can best support and respond to their needs.
The training provided our educators with meaningful insights, practical strategies, and a deeper understanding of trauma-informed practices. It highlighted the importance of creating safe, supportive, and nurturing environments where every child feels valued, understood, and empowered to thrive.

As we approach ANZAC Day, we take time to reflect, remember, and honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve our country.
At our centre, a moment of silence was done in advance together in our yard.
Each of our rooms has thoughtfully engaged in meaningful activities to help the children connect with the spirit of this important day:
🌺 Kinder 2 created beautiful hanging poppy ornaments, symbolising remembrance and respect.
🌺 Kinder 1 worked together on a wreath of poppies, encouraging teamwork while learning about commemoration.
🌺 Pre-Kinder explored creativity through poppy painting on paper plates, expressing their understanding in a hands-on way.
🌺 Toddlers made a special keepsake with hand-traced artwork adorned with poppies, creating a simple yet heartfelt tribute.
Through these age-appropriate experiences, we aim to nurture respect, awareness, and a sense of gratitude in our children, helping them understand the significance of remembrance in our community.
Lest we forget. 🌺

19.04.26. We recently took some time to come together and celebrate a very special achievement—our Exceeding rating in Assessment & Rating (A&R)! 🎉
To mark this milestone, our team enjoyed a lovely lunch, sharing laughter, great food, and meaningful conversations. It was a wonderful opportunity to bond with one another outside of our daily routines and reflect on the hard work, dedication, and passion that each team member brings every day.
Moments like these remind us that behind our success is a strong, supportive, and connected team. 💛
Here’s to continuing our journey of excellence together!
