ASPIRE CRANBOURNE WEST
Our Children's Committee gathered once again to discuss the importance of acknowledging and celebrating Reconciliation Week.
Together, we explored how Reconciliation connects with our service values of being Respectful, Responsible, Kind and Safe. Children shared their voices through drawings, demonstrating their understanding of belonging, respect, culture and community.
We also discussed our upcoming School Holiday Program, where children had the opportunity to share their ideas and suggestions for activities they would like to participate in. Their valuable input will help guide our planning and ensure the program reflects their interests and choices.
We are proud to support children's voices and encourage their active participation in decisions that affect their learning and experiences. 💛🖤❤️

6 weeks - 1 yr old Nursery room 1 (Rockpools room)
The children in the Rockpool’s room enjoyed a food safe finger painting experience. The children were presented with different colours and were encouraged to explore using their hands and fingers. The children used the palm of their hands and the tips of their fingers to explore.
The children watched as the slimy paint ran off their finger tips and dribbled back down to the tray. This activity helps the children to develop their curiosity and develop their sensory exploration through touch, taste and visual sensors.
