Is your workplace ready to support the men on your team?
This Men's Health Week (15–21 June), we're asking employers and business owners to take a closer look at the blokes who show up every day — often carrying more than they let on.
The numbers matter at work. According to Beyond blue:
· 26% of men admit to delaying seeing their GP for help when they needed it
· Death from su***de amongst men is nearly double the national road toll
· Seven out of fine people who die by su***de everyday are men.
Men aren't struggling any less. They're just less likely to speak up.
That's where you can make a difference. A workplace that encourages early support — starting with something as simple as a GP appointment — can change the way men cope before things reach crisis point.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training takes it a step further. It gives your people the confidence to notice when a colleague is struggling, start a supportive conversation, and guide them toward help. The difference between a team that hopes someone copes and one that's genuinely prepared.

What's one step your workplace could take this week?

This Men's Health Week (15–21 June), we want to take a moment to recognise the blokes in our Remedy community – our mates, colleagues, partners, dads, and friends. 💚
You matter, and so does your health.
Here's why this week is so important. According to the ABS (2020–22), almost 1 in 5 Australian men experienced a mental health condition in the past year. Yet men are far less likely than women to reach out for help – just 12.9% saw a health professional, compared to 21.6% of women. Men were also twice as likely to experience a substance use disorder.
These numbers remind us that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
So, here's our one ask this week: book that GP appointment you've been putting off. It's a simple step that can make a real difference.
