That's a wrap on the 2026 Victorian Sailing Summit, held on Saturday 13th June at Parkdale Yacht Club!
The day included a range of valuable discussions and presentations covering the Participation Plan, SailLAB, and panels hearing from our club leaders and youth. We were also joined by Proud2Play for a presentation on Taking Action on Inclusion for LGBTQIA+ Youth, and Mercury Marine talking about an exciting partnership opportunity. The day concluded with a Q&A with President Shevaun Bruland and CEO Malcolm Page.
Congratulations to our two lucky door prize winners, Peter Nolle (Black Rock Yacht Club) and Peter Lyons (Rye Yacht Club) who each took away a Ronstan Clearstart Sailing Watch.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! It was wonderful to see clubs, class associations, and Discover Sailing Centres coming together to share ideas, connect, and get involved.
We can't wait to welcome you all back to the Victorian Sailing Summit in 2027!
