Holy Name Primary School

Although National Volunteer Week was celebrated in May, we continue to recognise and thank the many wonderful volunteers who generously give their time to help make Holy Name such a thriving and supportive school community.

One of these special volunteers is Sonny, a former Holy Name student, who has been volunteering as part of his VCAL program for the past two years. Sonny has become an incredible role model for our students, supporting PE lessons, coaching sporting teams, and lending a helping hand in classrooms whenever needed.

We are incredibly proud of the young man Sonny has grown into and are grateful for the positive impact he has on our school community. Seeing our past Holy Name students return to give back is something truly special, and we thank Sonny for his generosity, enthusiasm and commitment.

2026 DISTRICT CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to our Girls Soccer Team on winning their District Grand Final. Next term they will participate in the Division Championships. We are so proud of the whole team for their team effort and wonderful sportsmanship.

Jamie was our school captain in 2022 and has come back to do a week of work experience. Thanks for all your work and efforts with our students this week.

Today, some of our Year 4 students celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Pray for them as they continue on their Sacramental journey.

Congratulations to our very own Lola and her team on winning Bronze in the National Junior Classics. Hard work and persistence has resulted in true development and growth. Well done Lola!

Last week, Holy Name proudly sent out offers of enrolment to our Prep 2027 students! We now have a waiting list for Prep 2027.

We are thrilled to welcome these young learners and their families to our school community and can’t wait to see them begin their exciting educational journey with us.

We look forward to getting to know each of our future Preps and sharing in the many wonderful experiences that await them at Holy Name.
