Our Nursery children were invited to a beautiful sensory discovery experience in celebration of World Environment Day. Using natural materials including soil, bamboo leaves, pink flowers, buckets, small shovels, and rakes, the children explored, investigated, and engaged their senses through hands-on play.
These meaningful experiences extend on what we embed in our practice through the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, fostering children's connection with nature, sustainability, and the environment from an early age.
Through sensory exploration, the children developed curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them. We love creating opportunities for our youngest learners to discover, explore, and care for our environment. 🌿💚
