Our Year 4 students had an exciting opportunity on Friday as they attended Secondary School Taster Days at Mater Christi College and St Joseph's College.
From exploring classrooms and meeting teachers to taking part in fun learning activities, our students enjoyed experiencing what life at secondary school is all about. It was a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, ask questions and begin looking ahead to the next exciting stage of their learning journey.
A big thank you to both schools for warmly welcoming our students and providing such engaging and memorable experiences. We know our Year 4's came away inspired and excited for the future!

Tonight's the night!
I'm joining hundreds of leaders across Australia sleeping rough for the night as part of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness.
Every donation, big or small, helps provide vital support, accommodation, food and hope to those doing it tough.
If you've been thinking about donating, there's still time to make a difference. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Focus on Learning: Italian Fun in Grade 1/2!
Our Grade 1/2 students have continued their exciting adventures with Pinocchio in Italian! They listened to the next part of the story, where Pinocchio visits the fair, and explored new Italian words and phrases through songs and interactive games.
Students also enjoyed making their own Pinocchio stick puppets, bringing the story to life through creative craft and imaginative drama games. It has been wonderful to see everyone building their confidence in Italian while learning through storytelling, movement and play.

Building Confident Mathematicians in Grade 3/4! ➗
Our Grade 3/4 students have been developing their division skills by learning how to divide numbers by 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10. Through hands-on activities and problem-solving, students explored different strategies to solve division problems and made connections between multiplication and division.
It's been wonderful to see students growing in confidence as they explain their thinking, apply efficient strategies and tackle new challenges with enthusiasm.

This afternoon our Grade 3/4 students came together in our Gathering Space for a beautiful Prayer Service centred on Social Justice. 💙🙏
Through prayer and reflection students explored the importance of standing up for fairness, showing compassion, caring for others and living out the Gospel values in their everyday lives. Together, we are learning that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in creating a more just and caring world.

Focus on Learning - 🔷🔶 Pattern Power in Grade 1/2! 🔶🔷
Our Grade 1/2 students have been exploring patterns in Maths! From creating repeating and growing patterns to identifying what comes next, students are building important skills in recognising order, predicting sequences and developing mathematical thinking.
Hands-on activities, colourful materials and lots of problem-solving made learning both fun and engaging. We loved seeing our young mathematicians explain their thinking and create their own unique patterns!
Every pattern helps build a strong foundation for future maths learning!
